This was part of some experimentation into drawing negative versions of photographs, the part on the left is what I drew and on the right is the inverted version. The idea is that abstracting what you are drawing makes you able to draw what you see more exactly.

I love the steampunk cnpecot. Not just the cnpecot but the believable position the character is in. The gravity just feels so right. We should get the boys together for a night of pencils, paper and vino!
